- Roald Dahl, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
The day after Christmas...
A day I always take time to reflect on the cross and resurrection of Jesus
And on what I'm planning to read the following year
and this year is no different
For Christmas gifts, my lovely family and friends pretty much provided me with much of the reading material to begin the new year.
So here is a list of what's going down (in the hopeful order):
1. Crazy Love - Francis Chan
2. The Cost of Discipleship - Dietrich Bonhoffer
3. Three Cups of Tea - Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin
4. Making a Meal of It - Ben Witherington III
5. Christians at the Cross - N.T. Wright
6. The Kite Runner - Khaled Hosseini
7. Letters and Papers from Prison - Dietrich Bonhoffer
8. What Have They Done With Jesus? - Ben Witherington III
9. The Living Word of God - Ben Witherinton III
10. The Journey - Billy Graham
*Throughout the Year: ESV Study Bible
Of course, this list doesn't include all of the reading I will be doing. School will force me to read more philosophical, historical, and literary works.
Before I can read all of these, I have to finish N.T. Wright's Surprised by Hope, which I hopefully will finish tomorrow or the next day and might have a review up then
Until then...

***UPDATE*** I received another late Christmas/birthday book - Richard Foster's The Freedom of Simplicity. I will somehow attempt to fit that in the year.
